Roasted Chicken Recipe

Ingredients: 3/4 teaspoon onion salt, 3/4 teaspoon celery salt, 3/4 teaspoon seasoned salt, 1/2 teaspoon pepper, 2 broiler/fryer

chickens (3 to 4 pounds each). Turn the oven on to 400°. Combine seasonings. Place the birds, breast side up, on a rack inside a

roasting pan. Apply spices to the birds' outside and inside. Fold beneath wings; fasten drumsticks

together. Roast for 1-1/4 to 1-1/2 hours, or until a thermometer inserted into the thickest

portion of the thigh registers 170°–175°. If the birds brown too soon, cover them

loosely with foil. Take out of the oven and cover with foil. Wait fifteen minutes before slicing.
